Raw Material Certification
Raw materials (e.g. essential oils) are certified for their compliance or equivalency with the relevant targeted standard. The certification system is based on the technical data sheets of the raw materials, the processes for their production (natural according to ISO 9235 or the European standards for natural flavours) , process chemicals and the quality assurance system for their traceability.

The processes and criteria documented according to the points 1 - 5 are assessed along to the requirements of ISO 7. On the basis of the all4quality audit system considering the criteria of ISO 17020 the yearly audits are carried out.

All operations certified by EcoControl may use the EcoControl Logo according to the certified scope, shown on the EcoControl certificate.

EcoControl accepts standards following the EcoControl principles. EcoControl certifies: Plant based ecological raw materials for the use in Natural Cosmetics (e.g. BDIH) Quality assurance systems for producers and processors of raw materials, natural / organic cosmetics, detergents (incl. GAP & GMP, in future on the basis of the cosmetic GMP ISO 22716:2006) Raw materials for the use in organic production and processing according to Regulation EEC 2092/91 on organic farming. Quality Management Certification (operation's standard) The certification of individual Quality Management Systems (QMS) has 5 pre-conditions: To describe the Quality Objectives of the operation A system for Good Manufacturing practices (GMP) A system for the monitoring A description of the product quality A System for traceability The processes and criteria documented according to the points 1 - 5 are assessed along to the requirements of ISO 7.
